HP Toner Cartridges, Pens and Paper Clips: Ways to Save Money
How much do you spend on office supplies each year? If you are like the rest of us, then you are trying to pinch pennies wherever possible. It doesnt occur to many people that the best place to start pinching pennies is right in the office space! There are plenty of ways a creative thinker can end up saving hundreds or even thousands of dollars each year on conserving and preserving office supplies.
For example, HP toner cartridges should not go in the garbage! Instead, donate or sell back your used cartridges to a third party company. The company takes those cartridges and creates brand new cartridges out of them. That is great for the environment, great for the company and great for you, because various companies often pay a small amount for the cartridges that are donated by consumers. And, in the end, the consumer is happy because those remanufactured cartridges get sold for much cheaper price points than the brand name cartridges.
Other things around your office that can go for a value, besides your HP toner cartridge, include any old printers and computers. Dont throw these away to the trash, either. There are plenty of repair companies or recycling companies that will gladly pay you a small fee for turning in your used computer and printer property. The company can take apart the piece of equipment and steal the parts that they need for other printers or computer, or they can simply dispose of it in a proper manner. Either way, both the company, the consumer and the environment wins!
Finally, keep an eye out for coupons and avoid any service that brings the office supplies to you as they often charge more than twice the price for simple office supplies. Even a company can be thrifty when you see a good sale for pens, pencils, binders, note pads, paper clips or anything else that sits on your desk, take advantage and stock up!
